STRATEGY BRANDING

Grant Thornton hold an annual conference where all member firms from around the world, come together to connect and network. This is a huge event that the organisation needed to re-focus on strategies for growth and where the new CEO will be revealed, highlighting a new start.

THE BRIEF

The 2017 conference was based in Philadelphia. Our client wanted to focus on disruption, innovation and transformation. The conference celebrates the new CEO and therefore a new start.

 

We needed to create a name and visualise an interim strategy that helps to focus the global teams on direction. As well as this the new CEO will discuss 'evolution vs revolution' and the challenges of continuing and developing.

OUR SOLUTION

‘Evolution’ is a weak theme in the market, with challenge from top four firms and others

closing the gap from below. We therefore created a theme, Unlimited, based on continuing to grow and never settling.

 

The successful identity lead to the creation of a dynamic stage for the conference, maximising the Unlimited branding. The stage we created looked 3D. This gave the Unlimited design a chance to expand without limits. As part of the stage design, we composed a rousing walk-on music track in the style of 'No Limits' by 2 Unlimited.

 

To support the event we designed an app to be used on both mobile and desktop. The purpose of the digital platform was to help inform the global leadership team (GLT) of the plenary sessions, timings and document repository. This was to help keep people interested over the three days.

 

We used Ceros to create the app. This allowed us to amend session times immediately, upload footage from sessions, creating downloadable links to PDFs as well as sharing content

immediately after a session whilst it is fresh and front-of-mind. We also created pre-read information, so the GLT arrived engaged and ready to participate.
